First Aid - EHBO Course for parents

Op zondag 30 juni 2024 opent Damoves haar studiodeuren op de Bosboom Toussaintstraat 186, voor ouders of verzorgers die een EHBO-cursus voor kinderen willen volgen. 

De cursus wordt gegeven door Linda Malley, NIKTA geaccrediteerd trainer en zal in het Engels worden gehouden. Linda spreekt echter ook Nederlands, dus je vragen kun je gewoon stellen! Na afloop van deze cursus ontvang je een deelname certificaat. Dit certificaat kan gebruikt worden voor vrijwilligerswerk. Het is geen gecertificeerde cursus voor verzorgers, maar als je bijvoorbeeld een oppas hebt die geen certificaat nodig heeft, kan deze ook deelnemen. Op die dag zal Linda de meest voorkomende kinderblessures behandelen, speciaal voor de Zomer: bijensteken, zonnebrand en zonnesteek, hitte-uitputting... Aan bod komen ook stabiele zijligging, reanimatie voor baby's en kinderen, snij-, schaaf- en ernstige wonden, verstikking, ernstige bloeding, shock, hoofdwonden, brandwonden, bloedneus en koortsstuip. Haar cursus is interactief, up-to-date en origineel.

Je kan in het tekstvak je volledige naam invullen en jouw voorkeur aangeven voor de dag en tijd (je kiest één datum en één tijd).

Notities

1. Na afloop van deze cursus ontvang je een certificaat van deelname.
2. Deze cursus wordt over het algemeen niet vergoed door je zorgverzekering (met uitzondering van sommige Zilveren Kruis polissen). Het is ook geen gecertificeerde cursus voor verzorgers, maar als je een oppas hebt die de gecertificeerde cursus niet nodig heeft, is deze van harte welkom om mee te doen. De trainer is een geaccrediteerd ERF instructeur en NIKTA examinator. Neem persoonlijk contact op met Linda als je een gecertificeerde training nodig hebt.
3. Neem je kinderen of baby’s niet mee, met uitzondering van baby’s jonger dan 3 maanden.
4. Annuleringen binnen een week voor de cursus worden niet gerestitueerd. Als je voor deze tijd annuleert, worden annuleringskosten van € 25 in rekening gebracht om de administratiekosten te dekken.

On Sunday June 30 2024, Damoves will open her studio doors at Bosboom Toussaintstraat 62, to parents or carers who want to follow a First Aid course for children. 

The course will be hosted by Linda Malley, NIKTA accredited trainer and will be held in English. You will receive an attendance certificate on completion of this course. This certificate can be used for volunteer work. It is not a certified course for babysitters, but for example if you have a babysitter who does not need a certificate, they can also participate. On that day Linda will cover the most common kids injuries especially for Summer: bee stings, sunburn and sunstroke, heat exhaustion... It also covers recovery position, CPR for babies and children, cuts, grazes and serious wounds, choking, severe bleeding, shock, head unjuries, burns and scalds, nose bleeds and seizures. Her course is interactive, up to date and original.

Notes

1. You will receive an attendance certificate on completion of this course.
2. This course is not generally covered by your health insurance (with the exception of some Zilveren Kruis policies). It is also not a certified course for carers, but if you have a babysitter that does not need the certified course, they are welcome to join us. The trainer is an accredited ERF instructor and NIKTA examiner. Contact Linda privately if you require certified training.
3. Please do not bring your children or babies with the exception of babies under 3 months old.
4. Cancellations within a week of the course are non-refundable. If you cancel before this time, a cancellation fee of €25 will be charged to cover administration costs.
